🌾 When you decided to stop living to the flesh and started to live to the Spirit by practicing righteousness to please God every day, things started happening to you that you may not understand. The Apostle Peter says not to be surprised at the fiery ordeal that comes upon you for your testing. Do not think that some strange thing is happening to you. Instead, remember that you are sharing in the sufferings of Christ. Keep on rejoicing so at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with great enthusiasm.
Look what is happening to you! "After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you." You are being made complete in Christ. You are being made into a new creation.
For if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
